Business Card Scanner is a privacy-first app that helps users scan business cards, extract contact information, save contacts locally, and export contacts as CSV or TXT files.
Contacts are stored locally on the user's device. The app does not upload saved contacts to our servers.
Scanned business card images are stored locally on the device only while they are waiting for review. When a draft is saved as a contact or deleted, the copied card image is deleted from local app storage.
Text recognition runs on the user's device. Scanned card images and OCR text are not uploaded to our servers for processing.
Contact exports are created locally on the user's device. The user chooses where to save, share, or send exported CSV/TXT files.
The app may show ads served by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may process device information, advertising identifiers, and related data to provide and measure ads.
Saved contacts, scanned card images, OCR text, notes, and exported files are not used by us for ad targeting and are not uploaded to our servers.
We cannot see or access the user's saved contacts, scanned card images, OCR text, notes, or exported files.
Because contacts are stored locally, contacts may be lost if the user deletes the app, clears app data, or loses the device, unless the contacts have been exported.
